At Westport Woods, our ethos is to provide a magical enchanting space that will captivate our couples' imagination. As a family owned and run hotel we always aim to provide extremely well run celebrations which work to enhance our natural surroundings. Sustainability is at the heart of every decision we make and we are proud to be one of Ireland’s Greenest Hotel. For over a decade we have been actively working to make our hotel as green and environmentally-friendly as possible.

With us you are not just choosing a venue for your wedding day, you are choosing our people too. Our enthusiastic team ensure that everything about your day runs perfectly. Joanne, Seamus and Caroline combined have over 60 years’ experience in hosting weddings, celebrations and events. We have the space, the décor, the lighting but most importantly we have the knowhow and we make it work for you. Your dedicated wedding planner will help you create a plan for your wedding day and guide you to the best use of our spaces and help create an a bespoke itinerary for your wedding day or wedding weekend.

THE SECRET WOODLAND

Our Secret Woodland provides a rustic, whimsical setting with luxury and comfort inspired by the surrounding natural elements. This is the perfect location to host your ceremony or drinks reception, hidden away in our enchanted woodland unspoilt and far from the crowds. If you are looking for a dreamy rustic outdoorsy vibe for your wedding but with a little indoor comfort too the Secret Woodland is the place for you. - Available from May 2020

THE HAPPY MARE

Vintage Horse Box Bar

After you say I do why not spend time in the woods or gather on the terrace for drinks, games and photos. Our garden games paired with our Happy Mare Vintage Horse Box Bar make a great start for any wedding party. Our vintage horse box trailer was recused and lovingly restored to add the wow factor to our couples wedding days. This unique, contemporary and quirky bar is the perfect addition to any wedding day and we will work closely with you to decide how best to utilise it for your day. - Available from January 2021

THE CHIP SHOP

Here in Westport Woods we are breaking away from traditional wedding food fayre by introducing our very own in-house chipper! Think juicy burgers, jumbo hotdogs, traditional fish'n'chips, crispy onion rings, chips covered in curry, chips covered in garlic and cheese, hey we'll even do you chips in garlic, cheese and curry, sure who are we to judge! - Available from January 2021

DANCE UNDER THE STARLIGHT

If you're looking for a brilliant way to dazzle your guests on your wedding day the first dance is the perfect opportunity. Create a gorgeously sparkly, romantic and memorable first dance by inviting your guests to join you under our fairy lit gazebo. Imagine your guests swaying under the string lights, wrapped in blankets and waving a touch of sparkle. Let our planners advise and assist you on creating this super romantic first dance. We can even provide the sparklers, firepits and blankets!
