Westport Golf Week Sunday 1st September 2024

Join us in the beautiful heritage town of Westport, Co. Mayo in the breathtaking West of Ireland for our annual golf week. We will be joined by players from all over Ireland and the world to share in the fun. This tailored package includes nightly entertainment and three days of Golf, at two championship Irish clubs and a banquet on the final night to celebrate with new friends and old friends.

Westport Golf Club:

Our tricky coastal course here at the wonderful Westport Golf Club is cast under the shadow of St. Patricks Holy Mountain, Croagh Patrick itself. In 1908 Westport golf club was founded at Trafalgar Park, now known as Horkan’s Hill. The Club has played host the the Irish Close Championship on four occasion with winners such as Rory McIlroy & Paul McGinley, Europe team captain for the 2014 Ryder Cup, shot a course record 65 on his way to capturing the Smurfit PGA Championship in 2002.

Castlebar Golf Club:

You will play on the same greens as Former US Vice President Joe Biden at the wonderful 18 hole course in the nearby town Castlebar. Founded in 1910 Castlebar Golf Course has evolved into a wonderful parklands course with overall design by PeterMcEvoy in 1998 and amendments and additions in 2018 by reknowned course architect Jeff Hawes.

The breathtaking views and lush green courses, will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Transport to and from the clubs can be arranged upon request. Club hire available for additional fee. If you are travelling with a partner and do not play Golf, then this package includes two 60 minute treatments in our wonderful Beech Spa and time in our pool and leisure area. Westport is also full of bespoke shops and restaurants to as well as stunning walks and cycleways along the Wild Atlantic Way.
