Stay and Spend Scheme

We are delighted here at the Westport Woods Hotel to be participating in the government ‘Stay & Spend’ Scheme. Guests of the Westport Woods Hotel will be able to avail of this scheme from October 1st 2020 until April 30th 2021.

The scheme is designed to encourage our guests to claim on their spend at the Westport Woods Hotel. Guests are able to claim up to 20% back on their bills for accommodation, food and non-alcoholic beverages when spending a minimum of €25 on one single transaction. 

Guests can claim a maximum of €125 per person or €250 for married couples and it couldn’t be simpler! Download the Revenue Receipts Tracker App and take a picture of your receipt to submit as proof of purchase in our Lakeview Restaurant or Bench Bar.  Guest will also be provided with an itemised VAT receipt on check out to enable them to avail of their ‘Stay and Spend’ tax credit. 

The tax credit will be used to reduce your IT liability. Any excess credit may then be off set against your liability to USC. You must have an IT or USC liability to offset against the credit to claim it.
