2. Coastal Drives
You can take a spin out to Croagh Patrick or a short drive along the best stretches of the Wild Atlantic Way to Achill Island or the Lost Valley. Ireland is rich with history and our corner of this island is no different. As you meander across the windswept landscape you will be struck by its beauty.
3. Loop Walks
Landscapes in Mayo contrast as wildly as it's scenery. There are walks for every type of explorer from beginner to expert navigator! One of our favorite is easy and will leave your jaw on the floor. The Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail offers a unique experience and beautiful walk! The trail is just south of the Wild Nephin National Park Visitor Centre where you can enjoy a hot refreshment and learn a little history about Wild Nephin.

5. Great Western Greenway
Mayo’s Great Western Greenway is a 44km off-road route that stretches from Westport to Achill Island. Taking in Newport and Mulranny along the way. You couldn’t ask for a more picturesque setting and it is suitable for every level of cyclist or amatuer. The route can be taken in stages just 12km to Newport a further 18km to Mulranny finishing with a lovely 14km cycle to Achill Island.
