On Monday 17th of February 2020 the very best of the Irish Wedding Industry came together to celebrate The Weddingsonline Awards -the Oscars of the Irish wedding industry. These awards recognise the professionalism, dedication, exceptional service and all-round excellence of wedding venues and suppliers. What a wonderful evening it turned out to be for us here in Westport as Westport Woods was crowned “Hotel Venue of the Year in Connaught”!
It was an incredible achievement to be shortlisted but to win has been a dream come true for our team, Joanne, Seamus and Caroline. Over the last 3 years, we have focused on not only developing the hotel wedding offerings for couples getting married but showcasing Westport as one of the most beautiful places in Ireland to host a wedding day whilst always striving to ensure that every couple leaves after the Big Day with only wonderful memories to cherish for the rest of their lives.
This award is an absolute credit to the whole team at Westport Woods who work tirelessly to make couples dreams a reality. It's certainly a trophy that will be given pride of place in our display cabinet!
