We are delighted to host your intimate Civil Wedding Ceremony in Westport. From 50 - 300 guests we have the perfect setting for your Wedding Day ceremony and reception, with a number of packages and venues to choose from. With a wealth of experience our wedding team will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for you & your guests with elegance and style. The following are the steps which you need to take when opting for a civil ceremony.

First of all you must give the State three months' notice of your intention to marry. You must ring the registrars office to make an appointmet to give this notification. When you make an appointment you will be told what documents you need to bring with you such as passport or driving licence & PPS Numbers. You will also be asked some questions about the ceremony you have planned including the date & location, details of the proposed solemaniser of the marriage & the names and dates of birth of the two proposed witnesses.They will then issue you with a Marraige Registration form which you fill in and return to the registrar who will marry you.
