The very best thing about walking around the Westport area is that there is a
length and type of walk for absolutely everyone.
Our get!together! co-ordinator will help you plan your outings and advise you
on the routes. Some of the easier walks begin right at the hotel door and bring you down by
the picturesque quay or along the disused railway line.
The town centre itself is a pleasant stroll away. There are beach walks within
easy reach, as also is the challenging climb up Croagh Patrick.
For the more experienced hill walkers, all of Connemara and Achill are on your
doorstep. Specialist equipment may be required for more arduous walks.
