Horse Riding
Surrounded by rugged landscape and miles of sandy beaches, there’s no better place to come and enjoy horse riding. Whether you are a first-time ride or have years of experience we have lessons, treks and horses to suit everyone. Our equestrian centre offers a wide variety of packages for different lengths of time, from 30 minutes up to three day treks, so whilst you are here you can do as little or as much as you like.
One of our most popular activities is beach riding. It’s a dream of so many horse riders to canter through shallow waves on a deserted beach and we’re happy to be able to make that dream come true. We’re lucky to have many beaches to choose from, some at the foot of Croagh Patrick, others (for longer treks) further out into Clew Bay.
Treks range from beach riding, splashing through the shallows of the Atlantic ocean, to the natural foothills of Croagh Patrick and woodland tracks. Our friendly and experienced staff are always on hand to ensure and enjoyable experience is had by all.
